What the Core Team Does

The Global Core Administrative Team manages the day-to-day and strategic operations of GYDF. Each role carries specific responsibilities:

  • The Founder and Co-Founder set the strategic vision, approve all international affiliations and cabinet appointments, and ensure the forum stays true to its mission.
  • The General Secretary serves as Chief Operating Officer managing internal affairs, executing the Founder’s directives, and ensuring departmental synergy across all chapters.
  • The Joint Secretary supports daily operations, manages communication flow, and ensures deadlines and commitments are met across the organisation.
  • The Human Resources Head looks after the wellbeing of the community, unites members around shared goals, tracks contributions, and ensures a healthy and motivated team culture.
  • The Documentation Head manages the drafting of formal proposals, affiliation agreements, offer letters, and all institutional communications.
  • The Information Head acts as Data Custodian managing the global database of professors, experts, and member registries, and overseeing course registrations.
  • The IT Expert manages the forum’s website, technical infrastructure, and troubleshoots any platform issues.
  • The Events Head is responsible for the live execution of online sessions and workshops ensuring technical reliability and smooth delivery.
  • The Media Head oversees the forum’s digital presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms, and directs the creation of all promotional and communications content.

Tenure & Certification

All Core Team positions are held for a tenure of 6 months to 1 year. At the end of each tenure, formal GYDF Leadership Certificates are issued to all active administrators recognising their contribution to international youth development at a global scale.
